Licensing#

AI SprintFlow is licensed per seat, annually. Details and pricing: ai-sprintflow.com.

What is a seat?#

A seat is an enabled console user who can start or approve work — the operator, manager and admin roles. Viewers are free: stakeholders, leadership and reviewers can watch progress, runs and dashboards without a seat (unless your license says viewers count). Disabling a user, or making them a viewer, frees their seat immediately.

At the seat limit#

Nobody loses access. Existing users keep working; only adding a user, promoting a viewer, re-enabling a disabled user, or a new person's first SSO sign-in waits for a free seat, with a clear message.

Renewal and expiry#

• From 30 days before expiry, managers and admins see a renewal reminder.
• After expiry there is a grace period (normally 14 days): everything works, with a warning banner.
• After the grace period AI SprintFlow is read-only: everything stays viewable and exportable — runs, reports, videos, dashboards, audit log — but no new work starts, and sprint queues pause without losing stories. Installing the renewed key restores everything immediately.

Installing a license#

Console → License → paste the key → Install license (admins), or sprintflow license install <key-or-file>. sprintflow license status shows seats used, expiry and status. Keys are verified offline — AI SprintFlow never needs to contact us, so it works in locked-down and air-gapped networks.

Free trial#

Every installation starts with a 7-day free trial: all features, up to 5 seats, no key needed. The trial starts when the first console user is created; every page shows the days left, and Buy a license opens ai-sprintflow.com. When the trial ends AI SprintFlow is read-only until a license is installed, exactly as after an expired license: everything stays viewable, but no new runs start, sprint queues pause and PR follow-ups wait. Installing a key restores everything immediately, with nothing lost.

Usage reporting#

Console → License shows peak seats per month; Usage report downloads it with the current seat holders, for renewals and true-ups.
